One of the most sought-for features at the popular social content site Digg - nested comments with more than 1 level of nesting - has just gone live. It was also introduced by Kevin Rose on Digg’s official blog. To seasoned Diggers, this is great news; to everyone else, this will look like the standard comment system implemented on forums for years, so don’t expect miracles.
However, the feature was removed almost immediately, probably due to bugs or site instability; Luckily, my friend Tanner over at Tech Blot
captured a couple of screenshots for your viewing pleasure.

And THAT is what we call a botched roll-out…
Digg comments are nearly always pointless and inane. I still don’t understand why the feature remains.
