Techcrunch, one of the leading authorities on everything Web 2.0, has launched a new service - CrunchForums. The forums are based on Jive Software, which wouldn’t be my first choice, but I guess the software has improved in the last year or so and it is the forum of choice for many popular websites, including Apple’s discussion board.
There’s nothing much to say about the forums themselves, except that you can expect thousands of Web 2.0 startups advertising over there, which hopefully won’t make the whole thing into a spamfest.
