Joost Goes Public

Joost, the free ad-supported online TV service that has caused the biggest demand for invites in its beta stage since Gmail, is now open to the public. Yup, that means everyone and their grandmother can now try it out, without an invite. Head on over to Joost web site and get a piece of the action. The official announcement is here.

Since its initial appearance as the Venice Project, Joost has been a usable and well-designed product; most of the later upgrades were either aesthetic in nature, bug polishing, or simply adding more content. Read our initial review of Joost here and check out what shows you can see on Joost here.
