Automattic, 8th Most Popular Blog? I Don’t Think So
Here’s a simple and effective way to get into the Technorati top 10. Create a very, very popular blogging platform, like Wordpress. Then, simply put links to your blog from every Wordpress.com blog in existence. Voila! You have the 8th most popular blog in the world. Although the site in question, Automattic, is not really a blog at all.
Hope this one will be fixed soon by the Technorati team.
While I’m on the topic of Technorati, this very blog still doesn’t get indexed by them, although it’s in the top 2k most popular blogs for months now, and I’ve sent numerous e-mails to their support. I’ve kind of given up on it, but it would still be nice to have that fixed, too.

Seriously, Technorati is broken, like Alexa. It’s at best described as unreliable…

It’s a Technorati bug, we don’t put links to Automattic on every WP.com blog.

Technorati has been broken from the start, I’m not sure if it could ever get fixed, it would take a drastic change in the core of how technorati works.
