Forget Earth, Check Out Google Sky
The latest version of Google Earth has a very interesting new feature: Sky. With it, you can see the sky as you would from any point on the Earth. To be able to make this work, Google put together over one million photos of the sky from various sources, which means that it’s, um, pretty detailed, and that you can zoom in to see those 100 million stars and 200 million galaxies.
To try out Sky, simply download the latest Google Earth.
I can’t wait to see the mashups people are going to build with this thing.
*Update: it’s activated by opening Google Earth, and clicking on View - Switch to Sky. Screenshots below.

Ya, I just read about this on business 2.0, they didn’t mention you could get it from Google Earth though. I am downloading it now to try it out. The screen shots look cool though!

Ha!
You would think that they world have OK’d it at the beginning instead of allowing it to go so long without saying a thing and then bringing it back up when it was too late. I don’t understand it at all. Virility Patch RX

Awesome info! I was honestly just thinking about something similar to this the other day so, it was almost “weird” when I ran across this. You would be surprised how many people simply have no idea when it comes to this kind of stuff. Anyway, thanks for getting this info out there and I’m sure I’m not the only one who appreciates you taking the time to post this for the masses.

Some time back, my 3-year old computer was running so slow that I had to buy a new computer. Or at least I thought I needed a new computer. Then within a matter of weeks of surfing on the Internet, my new computer was also running so slowly. In addition, some programs did not run well on my computer, and I did not recognize some of the programs that were running on my computer. That scared me most. Were these programs that were tracking my keystrokes on my computer or programs I just not remember installing? I knew I had to find a answer and solution fast. The truth is, we can all put up with a slow computer, but very few of us would want others to have access to the information on our computers, but that is exactly what can happen when spyware or malware is loaded on our computers without our knowledge.
