Site News: Moving to Dedicated Hosting
The lack of updates in the past couple of days is due to FranticIndustries moving to a virtual-dedicated hosting plan over at Media Temple. When the transfer is finished (hopefully early this week), posting will resume as normal

Why virtual and not a true dedicated server? I moved all of my sites to a dedicated server and I am super happy!

@HMTKSteve: MT only offers a VD plan. It works quite well from what I’ve seen so far…

What is it about Media Template that alot of blogs/big time websites enjoy so much? I’ve seen numerous websites such as this one switching over to Media Temple.

Are you enjoying your mt(vd) plan? I recently purchased a (gs), and am slowly migrating my sites over from Dreamhost (tooooo much downtime), but as soon as I paid up, people keep giving me negative remarks about mt.
