MySpace TV is Completely The Same as YouTube
I haven’t expected a great deal of innovation from MySpace; I thought that MySpace TV is going to be a run of the mill video sharing site with a couple of MySpace-specific features.
Well, now the site is live, and as it turns out, it is just that, but it’s also completely the same as YouTube. By that I don’t mean that they stole the code or anything like that, but…just look at the damn thing. Below are screenshots of two services, for side by side comparison.
As you can see, the layout is the same. The features…well, except for a couple of minor details (digg-style voring instead of YouTube’s stars), they’re also pretty much the same.
In some other situation I might think this as a bad idea, but in case of MySpace keeping with what works is probably the best road they can take, as it will be very easy for MySpacers to switch from one service to another.

Wow, they really are the exact same. “Upload” is now “Upload Videos”…of course in the exact same position as YouTube, ha ha.
Just as they have their ‘Powered by Google’ under the search, perhaps they should have “Design powered by YouTube” under the layout.
I think it’s pretty typical of MySpace though and partly speaks to why they aren’t currently enjoying the buzz of Facebook. Facebook releases their own video upload service and it not only looks nice, but manages to add a few features to the standard YouTube has created - MySpace does the same thing a couple weeks later and it not only looks exactly like YouTube, but manages to add nothing.

Proxy sites can be a great resource if you want to unblock a page. It lets you get around firewalls that may be blocking your ability to access a site. Unblock Myspace is a great site that will do just that for. Its really cool to cause there is a link there where you can sign up to have all the latest proxies emailed to you. Really helpful for when your proxy gest blocked so you don’t have to go hunting for more right when you only have a few mins and want to get on to myspace real quick and do an update or whatever.

Our teenage daughter is thirteen proceeding on thirty. She is mad now that we censor everything she watches. There is quite little on Tv today that we find appropriate for any teenager. A few months ago, we discovered that you can Cant Filter Me. along with several other exhibits. This is great as we can watch a present and determine whether or not it’s suitable for the child of her age. She is extremely mature to get a thirteen year old, but there are issues we still do not imagine she needs to know about. It is a fine line we continuously walk, but it is part of our job as parents.

For the past three months, I have been waiting for that DVD edition in the Frasier series. I am even now fourth in line at my local library to receive these so I was really excited to learn that I can Cant Filter Me.. My plan was to watch the DVDs about the train although commuting to and from function so I’m hoping I’ve Internet access through the tunnels and stations on my route. My wife laughs about my obsession with this, but she is hooked on particular Television exhibits herself. I’m wondering if I ought to tell her that she can watch her shows online also.

I have found that people like to get onto facebook / youtube / myspace when they are at work. So the simple way to do that if it is blocked is just to unblock it with a facebook / youtube / myspace proxy. You can always find new ones if yours gets blocked.
