You article surely was one of the best points of my Saturday. I was on Bing searching for something totally unrelated when the title caught my attention. I'm glad I took the time to read your article! Feel free to check out my blog at Singorama Review!

@Alan: putting social bookmarking buttons on your site for easy access is one thing. Having a system that lets you group up and collectively Digg stories is another.

Digg itself actively supports the use of Digg this buttons on web sites. On the other hand, there's a reason why Digg users cannot communicate directly on Digg.

I'm not going to pretend that it's impossible for Digg users to group up in other ways, but this is too obvious.

Your blog seems to have Digg it/Reddit it/etc. buttons. That's not gaming, right? As I see it, Collactive are offering spruced-up versions of those buttons - that help along users who are not so able with the process of managing their accounts on all these websites. Sounds perfectly okay to me.
