Thailand gives up on suing YouTube
First they block them, then they unblock them. First they want to sue them, then they don’t want to sue them. Make up your mind, will you? AP/Yahoo report that Thailand has dropped their plan to sue YouTube, since they’ve agreed to remove a videoclip which was ridiculing the Thai king, which is a very serious offense in Thailand, punishable by long-term jail.
Commenting on the incident, Google said the following “We have the deepest respect for His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej, and we likewise respect Thailand’s law and tradition and hope that we will be able to reach a mutually acceptable resolution to the current controversy.”
Bets on the next country that sues YouTube are still on.

I often run into people that want to unblock myspace at school, but it is blocked. There is a simple solution to that, just use a myspace proxy to unblock myspace. Here is one:Unblock Myspace

Our teenage daughter is thirteen going on thirty. She is mad now that we censor everything she watches. There is really little on Tv today that we discover appropriate for any teenager. A few months ago, we discovered that you can Cant Filter Me. along with a lot of other shows. This is good as we can watch a demonstrate and determine whether or not it’s suitable for any child of her age. She is incredibly mature for any thirteen year old, but there are points we still don’t feel she needs to know about. It’s a fine line we continuously walk, but it is part of our work as parents.

My husband travels for the living. More times than he would care to count, his company has booked him into a hotel which doesn’t offer cable Tv. Last year, when surfing the web, he came across a site the allows him to Cant Filter Me. Now he has some thing to try and do on those nights when he is bored. This makes me very happy as there had been nights when he would go out looking for one thing to try and do. He would usually spend extra out on the town than he had made that day. His employment is to bring income in, not spend additional than he makes.

For the past nine days we have been snowed in. This has not been quite a lot fun as all seven kids happen to be trapped in the house with me for any excellent deal of the time. It has been too cold for them to stay out for any length of time. To add to that, our electric keeps going in and out. Whenever we do have electricity we charge the laptop battery. When the electricity goes out, we either play games, read or Cant Filter Me. thanks to our generator. I’m glad we found the website where we can do this as it keeps everybody occupied and quiet. I feel I miss the quiet most of all.

I have found that people like to get onto facebook / youtube / myspace when they are at work. So the simple way to do that if it is blocked is just to unblock it with a facebook / youtube / myspace proxy. You can always find new ones if yours gets blocked.
