A story in Arabic pushing its way to Digg’s front page
You’ve heard this fun bit of news here first. While I was browsing the upcoming section of Digg earlier today, I’ve noticed a story in Arabic. I wasn’t able to understand none of it, except the one bit written in latin alphabet: GNU/GPL. Thought it might be fun to try and push the story that most diggers don’t understand to the front page, so I’ve given it its second digg and sent it to some friends.
And, voila, as you can see on this image, a couple of hours later, it sits in Digg’s upcoming section and it’s doing fairly well. Sometimes social media exhibits a weird collective sense of humor, and it’s one of the things I most love about it.
*update: literally seconds after I’ve published this post, the story vanished from all lists. Damn Digg admins ruining all the fun.

The link to that digg story has been deleted. I wonder why?

@Ali: yes, this was one of the most obvious admin interventions on Digg. First buried, then removed.

Important gift for anyone who needs one way backlinks for no charge. Anyone need free backlinks for their blog? I thought I would distribute some awesome info I discovered a little while ago. Free backlinks for your website. I have been using this for my websites and it really works great! Click my name to see what I mean. Not selling a thing, it’s completely free of charge and it works.
