Create your musical portrait with the Lifehouse Method
In one of the weirder ideas in Web 2.0, The Who’s Pete Townshend founded The Lifehouse Method, a web site which paints your personal musical portrait based on your voice and images. The idea is to bring the concept of musical composition to a wider audience. Anyone can subscribe for free, and receive up to three musical portraits. After July 31st, though, users will be offered the option to continue access to this site on a subscription basis.
In practice, it’s just what it says. You record your voice (have a mic handy or upload a previously recorded file), upload some images, and you get a slightly boring musical composition which probably doesn’t have anything to do with you or your musical taste. Recommended only if you have some extra time on your hands.
