CozmoTV is calling out to their fellow countrymen to chuck their TV sets and switch to their new, highly developed video aggregation and channel hosting website. CozmoTV is taking the best of broadcasted television, with the best of web hosted programming and videos and creating personalized channels for guess who, you! Cozmo notes the way you vote for the videos you watch, and then recommends similar shows that like-minded voters have also enjoyed within the same demographic and voting record. Initially, Cozmo used a time slot recorder that mimics the way your TiVo might work, but then switched to the personalized channeling system which has proved to be a more constructive tool.

Now, Cozmo will be launching a new embeddable widget by the end of this week that they’ve been developing for a few months now. It will allow users to view streamed channels containing the preferred content of the publisher and viewer, acting like an online tv station. Widget publishers can establish their widget by aggregating the RSS feeds directly from video sites such as YouTube or BlipTV. Cozmo will be developing more tools to aggregate more material from other video hosting sites such as Brightcove and Google Video. Publishers will also be able to ultimately establish preferences for their widget by having Cozmo review and analyze the page from which their widget was installed.
