TechCrunch20 - where startups don’t have to pay
Mike Arrington of TechCrunch and Jason Calacanis, the founder of Weblogs Inc, have announced a tech conference where 20 new startups will get a chance to show what they got. The conference will be held on 17th and 18th of September in The Palace Hotel in San Francisco, and you can find all the details on the official TechCrunch20 website.
The important thing about the conference is that startup companies will not be charged to be included; the 20 featured startups will be chosen for their quality and not their money. 20 industry experts will attend the conference (quote):
“Confirmed industry experts include Marc Andreessen (Co-founder, Ning), Chris Anderson (Editor-In-Chief, Wired Magazine), Roelof Botha (Partner, Sequoia Capital), Mark Cuban (Founder, HDNet), Om Malik (Founder, GigaOm), Robert Scoble (Scobleizer), and Dave Winer (Scripting News).”
This means, if you can get to San Francisco and have a demo or a finished product in time for the conference, go to TechCrunch20 and submit your company.

If I were to start a blog I hope I’d be able to provide a post half as enlightened and insightful as this one. Keep it up!
