One of my favorite sources for Web 2.0 information, Wisdump.com, is for sale. Its owner and sole writer, Scrivs, better known as one of the founders of the wonderful and slightly elitist blog network 9rules, seems to be interested in other things more than writing his witty, ironic, honest and often intriguing commentary on web startups, web business and Web 2.0 in general.

It’s hard selling a site like this. Its essence is in its creator, and it’s damn-near impossible to continue in the same track with someone else on board. However, an intelligent buyer might be able to turn things around by keeping a similar focus with a slightly different approach. If you’re interested, the details about the sale are here.

I hope that Scrivs won’t completely go into obscurity mode, as his down to earth voice was always a fresh breeze in the world of Web 2.0, usually blowing in the opposite direction from the rest.
