While browsing through the slums of Digg I’ve stumbled upon the following website: www.godcrave.com.

The theme is religious, but the approach is so Web 2.0-ish that I can’t help but laugh. Let’s quickly go over the elements:

- the corny slogans
- lively colors
- rounded corners, reflections and shiny buttons
- promise that the learning curve takes less than 60 seconds

Yup, this is Web 2.0 alright.

Now, don’t get me wrong, there’s nothing wrong with putting these elements into use for this purpose. It was just something I didn’t expect.
