Interestingly enough, less than a month after Writesomething project appeared (or, better put, changed focus), letting users add content to a never-ending collaborative novel, Penguin Books starts a strikingly similar project of their own.

The project is called A Million Penguins, and it’s in the form of a Wiki, but the concept is basically identical to that of Writesomething, except for the fact that it’s moderated by a couple of students, which probably means that you can’t add a character named Seymour Butts.

So, if you feel like opening up your creative potential and adding to a very big book that is most likely not to make sense at all, I urge you to try out any of these two projects.
