Pronet Advertising has details on yet another try to bribe the top users of the Digg community, this time for the measly amount of $500. Besides making the mistake of trying to bribe people for diggs, the webmaster of this particular site (you can see the details over at Pronet Advertising) made the additional mistake of not filling his website with much content before doing it. Instead of getting some publicity, he’s now going to receive some righteous wrath from the Digg community.
What this (along with previous outcries by top diggers) clearly shows that there’s a strong resentment of such bribery inside the Digg community, and that predictions that cases like this will be the end of Digg were far off. The community is, once again, the winner.

What a cheap attempt. I’m glad he got turned over by the users.
I’m sure he got like thousands of emails from fellow diggers.
